+Lindvall was discovered at a local fashion show in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 14, and she eventually signed with IMG. Her career has skyrocketed, and she has been on the cover of countless magazines, including editions (both national and international) of Vogue, W, I-D, Marie-Claire, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar. Thanks to her exceptional modeling qualities she has been the face of major fashion houses across the world, appearing in ad campaigns for Prada, Chanel, Valentino, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Jill Sander, Chloe, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo, Gap, Uniqlo and Banana Republic. Lindvall has also donned the classic wings of Victoria’s Secret runway model, strutting down the catwalk in Victoria’s Secret fashion shows from 2000 to 2008.

+Lindvall was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma in 1979. The second of five children, Lindvalls father was a pharmacist, and her mother a medical technologist and massage therapist.
+In 2001 Lindvall met the South African diver William Edwards. Their first child, William Dakota, was born in 2002. Her second son, Sebastian, was born in 2005. Lindvall and Edwards divorced in 2006.
+Lindvall is a committed environmentalist. She was named the “Best Dressed Environmentalist” by the Sustainable Style Foundation, and is the only supermodel to have had this honor.
+Environmentalism and Sustainability
+Lindvall launched The Collage Foundation Inc. in 2005. This non-profit initiative is an educational entertainment platform working towards environmental awareness.
+Due to her environmentalism and sustainable pursuits, Lindvall was selected to host the first “green fashion” show during New York Fashion Week in 2007.
+Lindvall is also a founding member of the Natural Resources Defense Council’s “Clean by Design” initiative, working towards making the Chinese textile industry more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
