Anais Pouliot
Born on May 7, 1991, Anais Pouliot is a French Canadian model who grew up in Chicoutimi, Quebec. Two years after being discovered by an agent at a local mall, she signed up Trump Models in 2007. To keep up with the demand for her appearance, she moved to New York City and then made her debut by modeling for the Fall See by Chloé ad campaign.
Modeling Career
Anais Pouliot was well-known for her runway walk. She appeared in a wide variety of fashion shows, includes ones for Lactose, Betty Jackson, Miu Miu, Christopher Kane, D&G, Prada, Erdem, Temperley and many more popular designers. In addition, she also walked the runway during the 2010 spring Nina Ricci, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel shows in Paris. Several designers have stated that they opt for Anais Pouliot due to her petite frame as well as her perfect height that other models are envious of.
Furthermore, Pouliot was showcased in numerous magazines. The first magazine she appeared in was W magazine for an editorial that was photographed by Paolo Roversi. Other editorials include ones for Japanese Vogue, Russian Vogue, Numero, Italian Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Interview, and V. Additionally, she appeared on the covers of French Revue de Modes, Grey, Russian Vogue, Intermission and French Elle, which was photographed by Jenny Gage as well as Tom Betterton.
She often poses for the Victoria's Secret catalogs as well as their website. Modeling campaigns that Pouliot has appeared in include the Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, the fall Nina Ricci line, the Yayoi Kusama for Louis Vuitton look book and the Carven fall line. In 2013, she modeled for the Carven fall ad campaign. Early in her career, Terry Richardson once requested her personally for a gig he had going on at the time because he loved her look.
Personal Life
When she is not modeling, Anais Pouliot loves to travel, especially when it involves flying on a plane. Furthermore, she loves music. Her favorite place to travel in the entire world is France because she loves the romantic feel of the city. When asked what she would be doing if she wasn't a model, she stated that she would love to spend all of her time traveling, but would also be thrilled to pursue a career in teaching or photography. Some of her favorite artists include Marilyn Manson, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Justice, and Deadmau5.
