Ana Mihaljovic
Ana Mihaljovic is a Serbian fashion model who was born on May 20, 1986 in Kragujevac, Yugoslavia. She is most commonly known as the model who won the 2002 Elite Model Look competition. Soon after the contest, she decided to sign with the Elite Model agency.
Early Modeling Career
After signing with Elite Models, she made her debut at the fall DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana and Salvatore Ferragamo shows in both Milan and New York. During the same year, she appeared in editorials for Harper's Bazaar and British Glamour as well as an Etro fall ad campaign.
In 2004, Mihaljovic appeared in the D&G spring advertising campaign and on the cover of Japanese Spur. During the following year, she was featured on the cover of French Elle. She also left the Elite Model agency and then signed with Women Management. Shortly appeared, she appeared in several editorials for a wide variety of different magazines, including V, Japanese Vogue, Russian Vogue. She ended the year by closing the spring Nanette Lepore, Marc Jacobs, Jil Sander, Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior shows.
The Later Years
As Mihaljovic continue to progress through her modeling career, more and more designers aspired to work with her due to her striking facial features and noticeably full lips. This lead her to be chosen as a model for the Bloomingdale catalog in 2008 and the spring Nanette Lepore show in New York. In addition, she also appeared in two renowned editorials for i-D and Vogue, both of which were photographed by the talented Daniel Jackson.
In addition, she also became the face of Celine for Fall. Ana Mihaljovic also walked the fall Jil Sander, Marni, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Dries van Noten and Alexander McQueen shows in Paris, Milan, and New York. She even appeared in an editorial for Russian Vogue, which was photographed by the renowned Lee Broomfield.
Personal Life
When Ana Mihaljovic is not behind the camera, she likes to take pictures of her very own. Although she has never pursued a career in the field, photography has always been a treasured passion of hers. While she is traveling for her various modeling jobs, she is sure to explore her surroundings and to snap some photos along the way. In her spare time, Ana Mihaljovic likes to lounge with her friends, such as Marija Vujovic, Emina Cunmulaj and Flavia de Oliveira, all of which who are also established models.
